About this trip

I’m Rob Ainsley. In spring 2020 I’ll be cycling Slovakia, End to End.

There’s no standard route for crossing the country. I’ll start at Záhorská Ves, the westernmost point in the country on the border with Austria, and head off east towards the westernmost extremity at Nová Sedlica, near the tri-point of Slovakia, Ukraine and Poland.

The total End to End distance will be about 400 miles, and take two leisurely weeks of 40–45 miles a day.

This trip is part of my long-term project of cycling international End to Ends:
